Consumer
Credit Counseling Service helps people solve debt problems by providing
confidential counseling and education services. CCCS counselors
have helped thousands of people solve debt problems and gain financial
control.
CCCS is
not a government agency. It’s a non-profit organization whose
staff members have the training and experience to help you help yourself.
In many cases, CCCS assists consumers by contacting their creditors
and arranging lower monthly payments. All contact is kept strictly confidential.

Accreditation for your credit and debt counseling process is vital for
quality assurance. Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern West Virginia,
Inc. is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services
For Families and Children Inc. (COA).

is an international, not-for-profit, standard-setting accrediting body
that has accredited or is in the process of accrediting 3,000 social
service programs delivered by over 800 providers in the United States
and Canada.

NFCC MEMBER
The National Foundation for Credit Counseling is a national non-profit
network of over 1,450 Credit Counseling Agencies designed to provide
assistance to people dealing with stressful financial situations. NFCC
provides guidelines and direction for all its members including Mandatory
Agency Accreditation through the Council on Accreditation of Services
for Families and Children, Inc. (COA) and all counselors are certified.
